The City of Lisbon

Perched on the north banks of the Tagus (Tejo) river, Lisbon prides itself on a near-endless offer of cultural, recreational and sightseeing opportunities. From historical venues and typical neighbourhoods to a lively downtown; from great civilian, military and religious architecture to the Tagus riverfront and nearby beaches; from a world-class aquarium and stately museums to top-notch sports facilities; from an unsurpassed gastronomy to a vibrant nightlife, there is really something for everybody in this truly fascinating city.
